ABOUT

Aleksandra Kozawska

Aleksandra has led innovation through design at Sopra Steria, Fjord Accenture Interactive, and BBVA, applying human-centered methods to tackle complex challenges. She founded ODIS Design for Space, the first independent studio dedicated to design services for the space industry, and is Product Director for the Space Account at Spanish digital studio Redradix. An alumna of the International Space University.

Joel Freedman

Joel is a Head of Innovation Services at the Satellite Applications Catapult. With nearly 10 years in the sector, he leads a UK-wide innovation network tackling local and global challenges. He has worked across academia, industry, and government worldwide, applying design thinking and systems innovation to complex social, environmental, and industrial issues.

Alexandre Simon

Alexandre is the founder of Anatole42, a design agency focus on the Space Sector.  With a background of engineer in communication technologies and in graphic design, he helps corporation, agencies and startups to improve their digital product and service.  Today, in DISC, Alexandre is involved in promoting the Design Spirit in the Space Ecosystem.

Charlie Bisland

Charlie is a strategist and consultant, having worked for 10 years across the intersection of business, design and technology with organisations like Space Forge, UK Space Agency and most recently OneWeb, where he uses design methodology to solve complex problems. He’s an alumni of ISU and SGAC and a director of Powering Space, a community for space communication professionals.

Delia Di Filippantonia

Delia is a senior service designer and UX researcher with a keen interest and expertise in space.  With over 7 years of experience working as a designer at Satellite Applications Catapult (UK), she has been involved in researching, co-creating and developing innovative products and services that make use of space technology to solve complex challenges on Earth and deliver positive impact.

Kaori Becerril

Kaori Becerril is an industrial designer specializing in foresight, strategy, and innovation. She co-founded Futureando, a consulting initiative that helps organizations apply strategic foresight, and has led workshops f.e. for the Mexican Space Agency and ASCEND. Formerly Chief Design Officer at Dereum Labs, she led robotics and space exploration projects, and has presented at the International Astronautical Congress.
