This paper reviews 75 years of IAF publications to trace how User-Centered Design (UCD) has evolved in the space industry. It shows how UCD, once limited to human spaceflight, is now expanding into product design, UX, strategy, and foresight, reflecting the sector’s shift toward commercial and interdisciplinary approaches.
